Design of Children's Trade Books

Charlesbridge is a publisher of fiction and nonfiction children’s books for ages 0-16, including fiction and nonfiction, and books for adults, including puzzle books, cookbooks, and more. As their designer, I assisted with the art direction and book layout of several children’s books, often serving as liaison between freelance illustrators and editorial staff at Charlesbridge. I was responsible for the cover design and interior layout of hardcover and paperback formats from concept to completion, including illustration guidance, font choices and colors.
